This moongate is COLLECTION ONLY from Oxfordshire.

Our completely British made moongate arch is made to look wild and overgrown with our willow twig weave.

Made with a strong, sturdy, no flex metalwork construction, designed by us and made locally.

Assembled arch measurement: 225cm tall and 260cm wide.
Disassembled measurement: 240cm x 100cm x 80cm.  It weighs around 25kg.

The arch separates into 2 pieces at the top and will fit into a medium sized car if curved down through the boot into the front passenger footwell.  Please measure the space carefully if you are picking up in a small van, it is easy to forget about the feet which are fixed onto the arch and are 80cm wide.

There are holes either end of each foot for pegging into the ground if required when using outdoors, although it is very stable without.

Perfect as a wedding decoration centrepiece dressed with flowers, foliage, fabric or lights.

So versatile it can be used over and over for events or in the garden as a beautiful and unusual feature or trellis with climbing plants trained around it.

Our open design means it can also be used as a ceremony arch or alter to be married beneath.

The willow weave will become hard and robust as it completely dries out.  Can be kept outdoors for long periods in all weather, although we do recommend bringing it indoors for storage when not in use to avoid the weave becoming brittle over time.  If storing, please don't wrap in plastic wrapping for too long.

The lead time for collection can be anywhere between 2-4 weeks due to waiting for the metalwork, please message us at the time for a more accurate lead time.

The moongate arch is a tradition that originated from China.

Originally found in the gardens of wealthy Chinese nobles.  It was then adopted by Bermuda in the late 19th century and it is regarded as good luck for newlyweds to walk through the gate.
